How do you treat sleep apnea?

We happily offer home sleep apnea tests with equipment that is approved by most medical insurances. This is to measure your breathing and blood oxygen level. We may also measure your heart rate or other aspects of your body. This is often more accurate and comfortable for patients than going to a sleep center for testing.

What is biological dentistry?

We practice dentistry by using biologically compatible materials. This type of care means we only use safe, natural materials and procedures in our office. Dr. Storey evaluates your overall, long-term health as part of your treatment care. We also refrain from substances that are toxic to the body, such as mercury in fillings and harmful substances during root canal therapy. We also recommend Xylitol for stronger teeth and cavity prevention in place of fluoride. In many procedures, Dr. Storey uses a laser which then produces a longer lasting result after having dental procedures completed by him.

Does Dr. Storey have training as a biological dentist?

Dr. Storey is an experienced dentist and is trained in biomimetic dentistry. He had biomimetic training during dental school. His parents work in the biologically compatible product distribution industry so he has great resources. Our office works with many different providers whom choose to refer their patients to our office for dental services due to our more biological approach to modern dentistry. We have many providers that "only" refer to Dr. Storey. We work diligently with all providers to provide you with the best services. Dr. Storey continues his education with all the newest technology in biological techniques.

How are the materials and procedures different at our office?

The materials and procedures used at our practice have been tested and proven to not interfere with a patient’s biomeridians or energy flows.

Are metal fillings really dangerous?

Because metal expands and contracts with fluctuating temperatures, metal fillings also do. This means decay can grow in the spaces surrounding the filling. It has also been shown that over time, metal fillings have cracked teeth and leaked toxins as they break down. For this reason, we do not use any metals at our practice and offer zirconia dental implants as an alternative to titanium.

Are there advantages to zirconia or metal-free dental implants?

Since 2004, implants made with zirconia have shown no adverse effects. In fact, it has been demonstrated to not interfere with the body’s biomeridians. If you are a candidate for zirconia implants, this is a great option for you.
